I have enough trouble justifying the costs of the music that I look for these days......like Radio Sputnik from Arc. Cheapest CD copy I can locate is $93 and change......

Thanks. That's just great -- 2 min 35 sec out of over 60 min total.

I can buy and download it in MP3, FLAC, etc., http://din.org.uk/album/radio-sputnik-din7

but finding the actual CD is what I'd prefer.

Radio Sputnik from Arc, CD, CD, Album, Limited Edition, Rare, Sold Out.
Well no wonder the price is high, the CD has the same characteristics as Lionel Trains, Limited Edition, Rare, Sold Out.

Exactly so. Most of the DIN label CD's are issued in limited numbers, some as low as 500.

Thanks. Prices in the $30 range are still painful, but an improvement!

I would probably buy that 20K recording, except the urge to run over it with a steam roller would be nigh on to irresistible! I like a lot of Contemporary Jazz, but the old progressive experimental stuff like on this recording leaves me TOTALLY cold. I'm sure the man could play, but he's not playing anything here that I have any desire to listen to for any extended amount of time. File it with abstract art like Jackson Pollock throwing paint on a canvas. I wouldn't give 50 cents for a pile ten foot high! It sucks! Opinion
