Or simply one of the occasional large (30') sturgeons passing thru from the North Sea? Sturgeons can move from salt to fresh water when they wish to do so.

Not a Plesiosaur..........just a bit of undigested haggis.

Murph,
Have you recently found the movie of the LN monster swimming?
Read some more. The guy that did it admitted fakery.

That was an allusion to Scrooge's statement regarding some undigested food being the source of his haunting.

No. They are simply inevitable and a fundamental part of the fabric of the Universe.

Question
Now that the new JOKER movie is out and appears to be very popular and HALLOWEEN is coming, do you think that the joker will be the popular costume. I can just see all these idiots out dressed as the joker trying to scare the hell out of people. Like the ones that dressed up as "it" :?:

I'm asking, once again, for the benefit of the broad experiences and wisdom of the voices present on this forum :

Wednesday, I opened a can of salmon to use in a salad.

Quite a bit of it was leftover, so I am having it today for brunch . It smells ok (sniffing food is a test I have always used to detect if refrigerator-saved foods are edible, still.)

My question: how long can tuna or salmon be kept and still be eaten safely?

Several days if properly stored in the fridge; trust the olfactrometer.

Canned? Buy fresh, please.....

Let me defend canned salmon over fresh. . It contains more calcium and Omeg3. It's a better fish over store bought farm raised. Unless Da Murph wants to go fishing with Da bears in Alaska. Canned salmon is a pretty good option. Most stores sell fresh frozen salmon.

If canned contains more of anything then it was added during processing along with other additives and preservatives. Some of the nastiest salmon I've every had came out of a can. And, you're right most stores sell fresh frozen - most. Not all. Shopping around for fresh is well worth the time spent on it.

Canned salmon contains bones. That is where more calcium comes from. It also comes from the wild. This helps with omega3. Farm raised salmon is fed crap. Farm raised salmon have smaller fins on one side of their body. This comes from swimming in a circle chasing a feeding machine. What ever they feed farm raised salmon does not give them all the nutrients they need. One thing is for sure canned or fresh. They sure F**& with our food. :x

This is an interesting read about Salmon...

How does an Atlantic salmon differ from a Pacific salmon?
