For Murph re: Bear Interactions
Re: For Murph re: Bear Interactions
Another video of a young bear sort of attacking some guys hiking on this mornings news. The bear came close to biting one guy on the rump, a lot of yelling, jumping around, and throwing things the bear decided to quit.
Re: For Murph re: Bear Interactions
They should have taken lessons from this guy. Look how quickly he renders this bear helpless

Re: For Murph re: Bear Interactions
Black Bears roaming around suburban yards, as well as mounting house decks and shoving aside sliding doors to gain entry to homes has become nearly a daily report in the News in NJ, of late. And the bears are quite calm and seemingly matter-of-fact about these casual interactions within the suburbs.
I've heard they are looking for mates.
Also, there has been a documented increase in the number of coyotes throughout NJ. They are following the tree lines and woods along waterways to roam furtively about.

East Coast equivalent of the Jackalope?
Once I built a railroad, I made it run,
Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad, now it's done --
Brother, can you spare a dime?
