Watch:Hiding bear leaps from bin at US school
https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-us-canada-65455991

Principal James Marsh got a surprise when a bear leapt from a rubbish dumpster he was standing next to at Zela Elementary School, West Virginia.

Both ran away, with the bear scuttling off into a wooded area.

In a Facebook post, the Nicholas County Board of Education wrote: "Who says principals don't deserve hazard pay????"

The principal told local broadcaster WSAZ: "It let out a pretty loud roar... I think both of us were equally surprised."

"The students at the school, they wanted to see it and I showed it to all of them - they thought it was just hilarious."

Pennsylvania man attacked by bear after walking into his garage
https://www.foxnews.com/us/pennsylvania ... his-garage

A Pennsylvania man is counting his blessings after he survived a bear attack at his home last week.

The encounter was captured on home video and shared by the man’s wife, Lori Swartz, on Facebook.

The video shows a medium-sized bear strolling onto the couple’s property in Danville, Pennsylvania, and disappearing into the garage as two cats watch.

Moments later, John Swartz appears on-screen and walks into the garage, not knowing what awaits him. Less than 10 seconds later, the cats appear startled by a noise and jump out of their chairs.

Swartz stumbles out of the garage entryway, holding his head as he frantically makes his way back into the house.

A few moments pass and the bear can be seen exiting the garage and wandering off the couple’s property.

Swartz later told FOX 56 the bear encounter was so quick that he only assessed what had happened after it left.

Hungry bear caught scarfing down leftover Halloween candy: 'With the wrapper?'
The black bear was seen gorging itself on Halloween candy that had been left out for trick-or-treaters

One family in South Florida does not have to think about what to with leftover Halloween candy, after a large bear was caught gorging itself in a hilarious video.

Pari Limbachia said that she was trick-or-treating with her kids in Lake Mary, Florida when they passed a home with a large black bear munching on candy that was left out on a folding table.
