WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
Re: WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
Can women actually walk wearing shoes like the blonde who caught the train is wearing?
Does anybody know why I would care?

I'm sure that they come in your size,
Conservatism: The intense fear that somewhere, somehow, someone you think is inferior is being treated as your equal.
Re: WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
My size? You talking about the women or the shoes?
Both would be mostly useless to me. All I would be able to do is look.
I am serious with the can women walk when wearing those shoes question.

Frankly, it's all marketing. And advertising.

Re: WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
Judging from the sheer tonnage of cash and valuables earned, I'd agree.
Re: WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
I will peruse those videos referenced above and learn [?] how they are able to walk in those shoes.

I'm not going to practice but I am going to watch those ladies practice. A lot.

Re: WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
These people are waiting for the train to pass through the open air market place so they can put their awnings back down and resume business.

November 11, 2011, Tucson Railroad Yard... people waiting to get into UP x-844 cab.
I know it is a large cab but they did not all fit inside.

Re: WAITING FOR THE TRAIN
Imagine being at the helm of that fantastic brute and actually moving it down the track! What a machine! Beautiful (n the eye of this beholder, at least.) I'll bet that engine rattled a few chests as it roared and rumbled by in its heyday.
I'm fortunate that I was able, as a boy, as a matter of course, often, to stand very near (1-2') steam engines as they slowly made their way into the National Tube U.S. Steel Mill, in McKeesport, PA, but never anything that powerful and prodigious.
