That’s partially true  I mow it the same way every time. Sometimes I cross off the front at approx 60 degrees to give it a diamond look.

2 days of nasty smoke filled sky. Along with some of the most horrible driving ever witnessed. People are driving like it is the end of the world

Did it again. The first week of April. Cut the grass and had to rake it.Squished around in the mud also. We had so much rain.

Just dumped another three inches out of the rain gauge...that makes an even eight inches since Monday. Had a tornado warning this AM. I'm ready for this thing to be outta here! The ground is absolutely saturated.

There was a tornado south of me. Delaware county. West of philly. Lots of wind. Everything fell over in the garden.

It’s becoming more common here, but certainly nothing like what you guys endure out on the prairie. I’m not sure it’s actually more prevalent now; more likely the NWS has much better tools for detecting/identifying the rotation associated with these storms.

Fortunately, no trailer parks within six or seven miles of me...those damn things are tornado magnets.

Well, if what the "weather guessers' say is correct, Hondo and I will be dodging the tornado bullet more in the future. Apparently, Tornado Alley is moving east, so OK, KS and southwest MO will be seeing far less of them. Now AR, eastern MO, IL, KY and points east are in the bullseye.

It sure seemed that way this past year.

Dry, breezy, lots of leaves on the ground, this place is a tinder-box. After all the whining I did about the rain, now none for 22 days.

Crazy weather...

No rain here since 9/25/24. Our neighbors ( New Jersey) have a state wide ban on outside fires. It’s so dry i need to hammer a screwdriver into the ground. So i can make a whole for my campaign signs. . It’s easier to push them through asphalt.
I don’t see any rain in the near future
