I have a sister in Ft Myers and a brother in Naples. My sister has left. Not sure where, but my brother is staying put.

Some of the photos of Ft. Myers and a few other nearby locales are just horrendous. Flooded homes on the Gulf Coast are an awful clean-up project, and then two weeks after you think you're done, you discover a five-foot gator in the hall closet.

The alligator was there all along. You just forgot about it.

Planned on cutting/splitting wood tomorrow, but I guess that’s a washout. Got a wedding I’m supposed to go to over on the Eastern Shore this afternoon, but I’m wondering about wind conditions crossing the Bay Bridge.

Not that bad north of philly. Just grey with some wind. Yesterday was in Upperco for a motorcycle show. Around 2pm the temps dropped pretty good.

Way too wet to be out doing that now. Was heading to PA but way to wet up that way now as well. Brought the grate in to the fireplace here, but no fire.......yet.

Been years since I've driven across those 2 spans. Had the pleasure??? of driving a large box truck across going North one time! (One time too many.)

The original bridge was looking rough, even back then, and that was quite a few years back! Curious what the life of those structures would be?

The first span was completed in 1952, the second in 1973, so the "new" one is nearly fifty years old. I don't mind driving over it in either direction, as long as I'm not intermingled with nimrod aggressive drivers. Unlawful lane changes can feel claustrophobic in traffic. The latest I heard they plan to build a third span in the same location. Hopefully they make that six lanes wide with adequate banking

13/301 bypass. North and south. Only 12 miles long.

I can’t tell you the exact locations. It bypasses a part of The original 301 that had 29 intersections. Those 29 intersections had a fatality rate 70 percent higher than the national average. It may from MD. DE state line north for 12 miles. I guess i can tell you. Google claims this road project will continue in the future. I like this route better than I95. More relaxed
