The physical churches, expressions of individual Love. Affect the love of each individual person, and you can affect the love of the whole culture.

Other than the obvious reason that it is built higher is there a religious, mystical or spiritual reason that most churches often have steps to
go up to enter the main floor of the sanctuary ?Especially older, larger ones. I know this is not so for all.
