Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy

I did a home brew barley stout. "Rasputin stout". come out to 19 percent alcohol. a barley wine with hops and a head of foam you could float on.

I can't remember or find where i left the bottle opener . It got better with age. Early on it was strong. After six months it was nice. Black as road tar. Thick head. A good winter beer with a pot roast. Not a summer day with a hotdog type of beer.

Sounds lovely.

Ok running a little behind here on my beer postings Not a fan of IPA’s but a little easier to drink in the summer months than stouts or porters. This was my sons but I took the poison off as my dad use to say. Not a fan. A little hoppy for me.
This was much smoother and less hoppier
This was brewed with vanilla and lactose smooth and tasty.
I was really caught off guard as this is an IPA. Maybe it was the vanilla but I hope to see this one in my refrigerator again
Not bad, I wanted to support the local brewery. I’d buy it again
I think I’ve given up on anything raspberry and chocolate. Sounds great on the label but doesn’t transfer over to the taste. One and done.
Again, I believe this was actually a stout. Not founders quality but I’d drink it again.
Meh, I’d drink it if it was at your house another one and done.

There is a packaging and distribution problem with beer. Most of it is getting placed in kegs and shipped to restaurants reopening. Along with a push to restock the jersey shore. Not much is getting bottled or sent to grocery stores. This will level off soon.

I saw that $2.00 Bud price so I checked at our local grocery today and Bud was @ $1.20.
Some other beers were less and some more. None was anything exotic.

Hazelnut....why not? I once had a extraordinary chestnut based ale when I was last in France -- high point of the meal!
