Looks interesting; if cool weather returns, I may have to track some down......but my beer shelf in the cooler is close to full now....

It probably wouldn’t be a very appropriate response to say than you should probably drink more

I stay within reason and also try to enjoy vs. guzzle beer or any other beverage.

Guzzling is a waste of good beer. Do that with Yuengling.

The Yuengling Black & Tan and their Porter are actually pretty decent.....and they apparently have a chocolate porter!
Their entire line is probably a whole lot better than anything you see advertised on TV.

I’ll have an occasional Yuengling or even a Heineken. The chocolate porter sounds interesting

(CNN) – Samuel Adams is releasing a new limited-edition beer that many won’t be able to buy, even if they can afford it.
It’s so potent that it will be illegal to sell in more than a dozen states.
The brewing company releases a new version of its Utopias brand every couple of years.
But this year, it won’t be sold in 15 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont or West Virginia.
The new brew will contain 28% alcohol by volume, more than five times the potency of a typical American beer.
The company says it’s only making around 13,000 bottles.
For those who will be able to buy it, the brew will cost $240 for a 25-ounce bottle, just under $10 an ounce.
It will be available for purchase on Oct.11.

Wouldn’t even interest me. Anything approaching 10-11% is my limit and that’s a very slow drinker if you want to enjoy it. I find the higher a/c alters the taste to where it is no longer enjoyable. If you want 28% switch to Scotch or Bourbon.

I was thinking some might be happier with Vodka or Gin..

Some of the Founders stouts are in the 12-14% range and just as you state -> a very slow drinker if you want to enjoy it.
I seem to recall that Dogfish had an IPA that pushed 20%. Never saw the point of it.....
