Last beer I had that I thought was decent was Stella Artois. Going to have to try another bottle for confirmation. Best ever was one called South Pacific out of Papua New Guinea. Haven't seen it in years. Also liked Watney's Red Barrel a lot, and haven't been able to find it in quite a while, not that I've been searching overly hard. I'd like to find South Pacific again, just to see if it was as good as I remember!

Looks like an older lager. Found it on the untapped app. Interesting bottle, kind of old school

Indeed! It is much more interesting! Very good actually, maybe not as sweet as I’d prefer but I’m definitely going back for the rest of the case. Certainly has the French toast thing going on.

Quick look around here and not finding it available, but......stuff shows up and vanishes...except for the plethora of pumpkin stuff.

Release date was October. Brew date on the bottle is September 19,2022. Maybe a bit before it hits the shelves depending on the area. I have 2 good sources and the one said they couldn’t get it.

Kind of amazed I was able to find it! Will now have to see if I can acquire some, and if it still has the taste!

The guys that work in the stores grab it on the way to the shelves,

Found a couple of bottles of mead in some boxes in the basement; I think these were acquired on a trip to Ireland some three decades back. I wonder if it’s still safe to drink? The internet seems all over the place as to the shelf-life of the stuff.

Drink your mead. I made some 20 years ago. It’s still good. If it does not have a film of mold , drink it.

The bottles are dark glass, so tough to see inside; I’ll have to crack one open next time my brother’s over.
