Where was this information about Alive before I had my bleeding ulcer?

Mitch, how 'bout it. When I lived in Union County, 3-speeds would have sufficed. I had a beloved 10-speed, and being single at the time, it was a great day-off to fill a water bottle and take off into the bucolic Pennsylvania countryside for the day. Not so much for the exercise but just to soak in this great green Earth.
Now here in Columbia County, I need about 5 more lower-gears, since I ain't an animal like San or Wayne! LOL!

But congratulations on losing the weight. Every little bit will help those knees, joints that support what? Gotta be close to 90% of the body's weight.

Re: the pool- I'm going to try to rig up some drainspouts and cheesecloth so that we can divert some roof runoff into the pool rather than spreading it out on the ground.
We have some wind and western darkness this morning. We'll see.

Friendships quite often are held together by the smallest thing and can come apart so easily. I had two friends who had been buddies for thirty years, then it was over.I never knew why. Maybe your friend will change his mind.
True friends are rare.I am "friendly" with several people but my two real deep friends are dead.

Gentlemen, birthday today!

Seems like a good time to present a short Rogues Gallery, (and rarely is the term "rogue" so aptly applied! )

And there you have it!
The best part is- there's so much more to come!

So Happy Birthday hobo and brother!

Dennis, it's a wide world of personality styles.
Give it some time. Some have to retreat and lick their wounds awhile.

I'm betting he'll be back. Be a fool to throw away 20 years.
And you did what you could.

I had a friend, once. In 1977, he wrecked my Harley, then moved to Las Vegas, and stuck me with the repair bills for my bike and the parked car that he hit. Didn't turn out to be much of a friend at all.

Happy Birthday, Hev! I can only imagine the kind of day you're having, but at least tomorrow I might be feeling a tad better (maybe not though). Best thoughts from the northeast coast. I'll be raising a full frothy one to you shortly.

Pete, that montage was enough to put a few tears into eyes of the toughest of hobos.

Dennis, people take offense to the oddest things and it's always confusing when you've crossed a line you would never perceive no matter how cautious you were. If you've told Homer how much his friendship means to you, then all you can do is wait and hope. Personally I hate the damn waiting as a rift in friendship gnaws at me and I want it resolved one way or the other. Hang in there and drink as much as you possibly can.

HEV!!!!! Drink up!!! It's your day , Bro!!!!!! :D :D :D Mr. Double-nickle!!!!!
Great shots, Pete!!!!!!!

Dennis, Sorry about the situation with your friend. I remember you sending me an email photo a while back that I thought was ok to share here with everyone else only to find out you did'nt want it posted for the same reason you explained to your friend. If I had known that before I certainly would not have posted it. Just a thought ,that if you have stipulations on work you want to share, make sure the people you share the work with understand it up front. I certainly have no hard feelings over it and I hope the issue with Gomer finds closure.

You have plenty of friends here in the jungle. There is even a pooka around here somewhere.
