Hev sent me this:

Seems a sheep farmer was puzzled
about the disappearance of some
sheep on his farm. After a few
weeks the farmer decided
to put up an electric
fence.

About a week later,
this is what he
found!

Now, I know we've all heard of
people being eaten by snakes
& I bet most of us have said,
"If a snake tried to eat me,
I'd blah, blah, blah &
get away.

Well, this is a Python & they're
extremely aggressive & have
a few teeth that they use to
hold their prey while they
wrap around them &
then constrict.

Could you get away if
this one bit you &
held on with it's
"few teeth?"

(Note: the wires are 10 inches apart.)

That's why I live in New England.

I took a few photos of D, but there was no way to get the patch to settle right. I figured the shots just didn't look quite correct. No one could read the patch at that angle.

I hope that f*&%#@g snake died. I'd be more than happy to expend a 12ga. shell on that.

Is the Jungle fire out? Can anyone see even the last glow of a coal? One ember of orange, fading red, gray ash?

Jon, great looking kid by the way. Must be the mother.

Image

Even gots to ride in the car with real windows....

Some of the other hobos that caught it with me...

Nuther one cam by, but I missed snagging a ride on it.

Then this critter almost broke up the 'Bo campfire at the bottom of the hill.

(Real story; I got an invite to ride the NS business train on a trip up to the Horseshoe Curve for the Pa. Rail Conference that was held in Altoona. Needless to say, I said yes to the invite!
The power is two of the "new" rebuild GP-38s from Juniatia Shops, not the F units (damn). We went up to Gallitzin, turned around on the helper turn, and came back down to the curve. They let us off on the Curve, only the 4th time that's ever happened, and it was SWEEEEEET! The orginizers had a rib BBQ at the bottom of the curve, and the bear decided to crash the party! He had to go for at least 500 pounds or better! Car in the pic almost hit him, chased him about 1/2 way up the hill where he sat and watched for an opening to the food. BTW the ribs were GREAT!!!!)
