How do you know it's Moscow?

I googled your image and found several pictures of the buildings with "Moscow" in the captions.

I went to Moscow in Google Maps and drove the Google Streets car around and found the buildings.

Did I ever tell you about the man I worked with here in Tucson?
He was raised in a small town in Texas.
He moved to California because there were no good jobs in his hometown.
He worked really hard at his new job in California and eventually his fellow employees started teasing him.
He went to his boss and asked what he was doing wrong, the other employees were insulting him!
His boss asked, "What do you mean?"
He said, "One just asked me, 'Where did you get those shoes, Salvation Army?"
"Oh," said his boss, "that means they like you when they tease you."
One day my friend returned to his hometown. He saw an old girlfriend and said to her, "Hi, Linda, where'd you get those shoes, Salvation Army?"
Linda burst into tears.

I grew up in the Los Angeles basin, I recognize that you are teasing. My trip to Moscow was enough.

Yes, it was. Thank you. I think I bumped into the photographer's website, and it looked like he was saying that the photo was taken in Moscow. I wouldn't be surprised if there are highrises in other Russian cities. The main thing was the train.

Difficult not to be curious about such unique buildings, too, in addition to that beautiful train, huh. Outside of, perhaps, Arabic places like Dubai, I never imagined such remarkably modern edifices existed anywhere else in the world. And I didn't know such locomotives were still preserved in various societies around the world. Apparently, my out-in-the-world adventures have become too provincial. Thanks for the eye-openers!
