Doug. LOL. It's your railroad . Do what YOU want.
I would like to have everything as correct as possible, but can not afford the scale stuff and stay happy playing with my trains.

Personally I don't give a RATS *** if it is "prototypical" or not, whether it is true scale or not. If I like it I'll run it.
Last friday was the "Kids Club Day" on the club layout, those that signed-up got one hour of time. One of the kids had an RS-3 in the middle with a couple of freight cars on each end and a Jordan Spreader on one end and a snow blower on the other. One of the adult members kinda grumbled but I told him that the kid was a combination yardmaster/dispatcher/conductor/engineer so he could set-up his train any damn way he felt. Was he happy with my response, who cares.

Bond...looked carefully at the barman. "A dry Martini," he said. "One. In a deep champagne goblet."

"Oui, monsieur."

"Just a moment. Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon-peel. Got it?"

"Certainly, monsieur."

Damn San, Why is it warmer in Pa than it is in Escondido?
That sucks, the few plants left that the gophers and rabbits haven't eaten lost all their blooms and most of their leaves in last nites frost.

Thanks, lads. I've been under the snarl of a rather nasty flu for a bit so today is my first day where I feel even slightly human again. I still plan on hoisting a few beers so get the tin cups ready.

Weird weather out this way as well.
