Thank you. That's the stuff. The guy in the boat with the screen mesh hull. Should be more flexible and comfortable than duct tape. Both should stop droplets in their tracks.

I've used a bit of FlexSeal in an aerosol can...seems to work remarkably well. A second-floor dormer that had leaked on and off for years no longer does. Regular caulking didn't work. Hopefully FlexSeal stands up to sunlight...

Seeing her, it makes me wonder, are there many normal people left?

And if you define normal as the people you went to high school with 50+ years ago, the world and normal have indeed changed. Contrary to some opinion, the 60s were still a period of great conformity and social pressure until all heck broke loose near the end of the decade.

Murph, I have a certain amount of Attention Deficit Disorder. In my perusal of aid for that, I came across the following.
"Unique, like everyone else." I take that to mean no one is completely normal, else how would we distinguish each other?
After all, if I was 'normal' I'd be in HO, not O!! :D :D :D :D

Hmmm......I though it was rather clever and not as terribly boring as many others. I guess this a demonstration of failing to conform to expectations of herd.

No, she just looks awful and ridiculous. IMUnHO

I must admit, however, as a visual, cultural reference to a movie much enjoyed and known to most everybody, it is clever, and now that I think about it further, playful.

Yes, she should look more like Sigourney Weaver,

Yes, having a good laugh and all might be a good defence against the non-physical impact of the situation.

I share that one with you 100%. The late 60's early 70's was the beginning of end of normal, at least as I thought of it, wrought with many changes that never stopped. Growing up in the late 50's and early to mid 60's, at least in the Midwest, was pretty idyllic. I look at that time period as a "golden" age, but I've always been naive.

It was the same for me growing up on the west coast. Best of times. It started changing with the Assassination of Kennedy, LBJs Vietnam war, Nixon's cover up and the first oil embargo.
