Their net worth is now 40 million. Capitalism....Just follow the America Dream. :)

They just bought a $15 million dollar home on Martha's Vineyard and they own a $7 million dollar home in DC. I don't think they will be returning to Chicago.

I think that the only President that did not enhance their worth, uncommon for it to happen in fact, might have been Carter. Maybe you should look up the Bush holdings? Trump is making millions, and never divested of his holdings as he promised he would either.

Rufus My post was a compliment for the Obama's. They did not acquire the money through corruption while in office. They made it the good old fashion way called free enterprise and capitalism.

The Clinton's made a fortune after leaving office by giving speeches. If people are willing to pay $2 hundred to $5 hundred thousand for a speech, I say go for it. Again free enterprise and capitalism. It's what I believe in. :D

Murph, i think about running for office many times a week. I would love to have the funds to run for local representative. President. Noway. Don't need it. I don't think there will be a president in my lifetime that will make major changes. There is noway our current government can work together. I'd like to see a politician run on this platform. " if i cant deliver my promises i'll resign." Instead they start the blame game. We need to find a person that could careless who gets the credit for well laid out plans. Listen to the candidates and count how many times they say "I" I did this ,i did that.

Amazing. You run for president of the USA and the skeletons climb out of the closet. Apparently the NY Times is not a fan of Bloomberg.

How Bloomberg Buys the Silence of Unhappy Employees
https://news.yahoo.com/bloomberg-buys-s ... 58237.html

Every year, hundreds of departing employees at Bloomberg LP are presented with a choice: Either leave the company empty-handed or accept a generous financial package and agree to never speak ill of the company. Many take the money.

The result is that some employees at Michael Bloomberg’s company are barred from publicly describing misconduct and what they perceived as an entrenched culture of bullying, where women are often objectified and sometimes face discrimination, according to interviews with more than a dozen former employees, as well as lawsuits and internal corporate documents reviewed by The New York Times.

Why? Nothing illegal about that once out of office.

Old news and the NY TImes is fond of anything that sells papers. Trump just threatens to sue everyone instead.

Bloomberg ends his bid for the Democratic nomination, endorses Joe Biden
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/pol ... 595841001/

WASHINGTON – Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who jumped into the 2020 election in late November, has ended his presidential bid, according to his campaign.

In a statement Wednesday, Bloomberg said staying in the race would make it more difficult for Democrats to defeat President Donald Trump.

Bloomberg’s collapse was proof of the old adage that good ads can’t save a bad product.

Bloomberg's Job Security Promises Are Falling Through, Campaign Workers Say
https://news.yahoo.com/bloombergs-job-s ... 23946.html

When multibillionaire Michael Bloomberg hired an army of staff members for his presidential campaign, he lavished them with salaries that were nearly double what other candidates were paying. His campaign also promised something rivals could not match: job security through the general election, even if he dropped out of the race.

But now, less than a week after Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York, left the Democratic presidential race — endorsing former Vice President Joe Biden and pledging to put his vast resources behind him — hundreds of Bloomberg’s field organizers and regional organizing directors around the country are suddenly without jobs, having received emails on Monday that encouraged them to keep their campaign-issued electronics as a sort of severance payment.
