Sadly, many people in this country remain stupid bigots, too.
When we understand that each day isn’t one more day, but one less, we’ll start giving more value to the things that truly matter.

I wonder if they would feel it would interfere with his decision-making abilities and processes (?)

I'd be a lot more worried about folks over 65 and Alzheimers

Latest poll. 3 in 4 Democrats would support a socialist for president: That leave Bloomberg out.

News to me; where'd that come from? Folks like to inflate numbers just to scare others about this BS.

Yesterday's poll had that well under 50% and closer to 40.

Holes in the ground are where too many do get their info....or a magic 8 ball.

If I look at the TV, it's at all of the business news networks; money motivates to deliver information you can act on; advertisers on others motivate. Fun watching the market tank while watching Kudlow try to spin stuff and obviously failing with every word.

I go to the library to get books to read, Usually average 3 a week......more if they are really entertaining,

Yeah, he's been full of it since watching him on Lou Rukeyser. Trump couldn't find a better cheerleader for financial.

So I take it you have no 401s or IRAs or any retirement funds that may be invested. :?:

I wonder how many of those state governments and unions that have invested their retirement fund in wall street are having fun watching the money disappear.

Better to have your money in a savings account at 1% interest.

No 401, but other stuff, yes. Understanding that the week's loss are really not all that significant is more important. No real losses as yet and still ahead over time by many years. Buying yesterday,  What's really happening are the guys that were over-extended, on credit, in futures and commodities are having to sell off they holding to cover their calls. That's driving things down. Also, the consumers driven aspect of the market, the one that was propping everything else up, appears to be faltering. That's far more concerning.

I wonder how many of those state governments and unions that have invested their retirement fund in wall street are having fun watching the money disappear.

You can't lose what you never really had - has to go down a lot further before that happens. One has to understand how things work over years, not days.

Better to have your money in a savings account at 1% interest.

If you can even get 1% at a bank, that's remarkable; averaging 7-10% in an S&P index fund for 20 years works a little better and takes no effort at all.

Someone pointed out recently that the voter demographics have changed dramatically since 2016. Many more young people as a proportion of the electorate, many more "Latinx" in particularly. Considering that Trump won many critical states by next to nothing (a few thousands or tens of thousands of votes) and the newly minted electorate favors Democrats by about 2:1, the chances of getting this incompetent, dishonest and dangerous man out of office is looking better than previously. The irony that it may be an even older, white male who does it is rich indeed.

If you're a person in their 20s or 30s, which vision of our nation do you prefer, Bernie Sanders (and a probable female vice presidential candidate) or Donald Trump? A no brainer to me :). With Sanders and a Democratic Senate and House, we will see investment in health care, scientific and medical research, education and the future. With Trump, you'll see corruption, cronyism and soak the middle class to fund the wealthy who will keep the money in off shore accounts.

The man who appointed Mike Pence (who doesn't believe that smoking causes cancer or that needle exchanges work to reduce HIV transmission) to head the coronavirus effort is an scientific illiterate. At least Bernie can spell cat, without spotting him the c and the t.

You still believe in the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny. There is just as much corruption, cronyism on the left as there is on the right. Neither side gives a crap about the middle class. The middle class didn't really exist in this country until after WW2. It was built by capitalism and manufacturing. The same way that Germany and Japan were rebuilt. That's gone now, both sides sold us out.

If the country want's to go with a Sanders or A warren, I say go for it and lets see what happens. Whats in it for me. I don't have any student debt and I can't use a free collage education at this point. I have medicare, but it's not free.

I am all for taking away the money from those rich billionaires. Bloomberg, Bezos, Gates. Zuckerberg, Soros. All the Hollywood elite and sports millionaires. Put it in a big pot and give me some. I will vote for that.

Lets talk about the medical industrial complex. Who are they supporting. :?:
