Also Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King.

And yet, the cars were joyous, weren't they.

To me, the car immediately below, the 1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible - 4 doors, no less - was one of the most beautiful and tasteful cars ever on the road. Real class.

I just threw another holey sock away this morning.
At the same time, I had a pang of nostalgia over these things.

I tend to throw away socks with holes in them. As i throw them out i say "darn sock"
My grandfather had a 1960 Lincoln . Then in 1962 he won a Cadillac. He never looked back at Lincolns. He drove a Cadillac for the next 40 years. One year my mother and her sister were saying to him. " you should have kept that 62 caddy. Think of how much it would be worth. " "He gave them some figure $30,000 tops ladies" One of them said " Wow bad decision" The other said " I agree " He then replied to them " may be." I have some bad money decisions over the years" " If i had no children . I would have saved $250,000 +." " Damn my retirement would have been nice a quarter mill and a 62 caddy " "Mistakes life is filled with them" He looked at both of them and winked. "I have no regrets".

OK, First of all, Wayne, I've looked and looked at those sock-darning-thing-a-ma-bobs, :? trying to figure what else you could us them for. But I can't think of a thing. How about using them hanging knob downwards as ornaments on a unique Christmas Tree, in future?

Secondly, if you've been darning socks, I am worried about you. Maybe. Srta.

Next. Robert, "As I throw them out, I say, 'Darn sock'."
Darn clever. And cute. :D

Dis place be trippin at times!!!! :P

Here's your reward for being fun-guyz….

I figured that with a li'l imagination, she would still be inspirational. (And Ms. Loren would be, too, no doubt!) :D

Does anybody have a theory or the latest available information about what happened to the Czar and his family during the Russian Revolution? I saw the film with Grand Duchess Anastasia being played by Ingrid Bergman (so beautiful and dignified, her portrayal made one hope the story were true) and found it very interesting. However, did I notice somewhere along the road that their bones had been discovered in that grave dug in the woods at Ekaterinberg, unearthed, and reburied in the floor of some cathedral somewhere? Anybody have some personal feelings or thoughts about this, given all that has been available for decades?

I've heard it purported that the boy, Alexei, was spared and hidden/spirited away.

Alexei was adopted by Judge Crater and Amelia Earhardt

I don't know Murph.

First you reward us for participation with a dead movie star and now you are digging up bones. This is a strange hobby.

I at times suspect necromancy to be a hidden hobby.
