Or maybe at times irreverence is just what is needed to demonstrate to an otherwise excessively self-absorbed and self-righteous crowd into some perspective as to what it's true value might really be in the grand scheme of things - some ridicule is good for the souls of all present.

What truly was the occasion?

Does it even matter?

Not really, just wondered if "shaving his balls" had anything to do with the theme of the protest. Maybe he was at the free concerts?

The beloved ’90s soda Crystal Pepsi will make one last final return to shelves this August—but not before a series of epic concerts from some of the decades biggest artists. On Wednesday, the cola company announced the Crystal Pepsi Throwback Tour made up of three free shows from Busta Rhymes, Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath and Salt-N-Pepa at baseball stadiums around the country.

The caffeine-free, clear soda was quickly pulled off shelves after its release in 1992 but has maintained a loyal following and made a comeback last summer with a limited-time offering. Since then, fans could only buy the drink on eBay—with one bottle going for as much as $8,000.

I don't even remember the stuff. But, I don't remember these biggest artist of the decade either. Maybe the meant to spell Decatur. :D :D

I hope not; defeats the impact of the sign!      Might not have been a protest either - could have been a rally!

In any case, if a guy is going to shave, there is probably a far, far better reason.........

I guess I'm way too old for this stuff.
I still don't understand "so close", don't think I want to and don't care who does either way.

I have always liked some of the Queen stuff.
There are others that also impressed me but I never spent a lot of time listening to stuff that was not in the genre that I really cared for.
So I missed some stuff. (Shrug.) I have had a relatively happy life not knowing everything. This is, it seems to me, a way off from where it started
and I am still lost. But so what? Maybe I won't be lost on the next thing.

Thx Wayne. I'm at home today and our internet speed sucks, so I couldn't load up the article, but will on Monday. I thought it was Saddam Hussein   pulling a lawn mower cord, which made no sense to me at all.

Yeah, Queen had some real classic songs, but I always misinterpreted what they were really saying. Regardless of the group, I always thought male singers were singing their ballads to the ladies. Elton John was my 1st eye opener and reality check.
