Reminds me of a few bloodcurdling experiences driving around Upstate NY during the Autumn, looking for apples.....some wafts were breathtaking and able to take your hearing and sense of touch away, too, it seemed. Nowhere was safe. Yup. I have no idea how the farmers are so casual about such efforts as those manure-spreaders that hurl the stuff into the air over the freshly plowed fields. Even the AC/heater unit seemed to have no power to purge itself or the air in the car, for quite a while.
