I've been picking up some negative vibes from you for a while now, but if it gives you a little cheer to do so.... Cheers!

I have noticed that myself Murph. I am a real cur muigean. I apologize
and will try to back off.

See,
I am not going to tease you about how old the "Mama" show is nor that it was not even in color....
....Such
teasing is considered friendly in the West--perhaps not in New Jersey.
Well, that's all good to read, except for the "backing off" part. Don't. You keep me perky. (I can't speak for the rest of NJ, though, in that regard.)
So much is lost when we do not have tone-of-voice and/or facial expression to consider in the conversation, that sometimes one can't be positive.
I have always assumed the best when iot concerns you, but I just thought I was feeling an "edge" creep in. If you say, "Nope, not true," that certainly is good enough for me, now that you tell me you have been just teasing. So, I say, keep it up. At least, now, I understand you have not been getting actually hostile or condescending for some unknown (to me) reason. Rock-on, brother. I can surely take it.
Look at Rufus and me . We tease back-n-forth, and I sometimes have no clear idea how serious he is. I just assume he is full o' fun and yack it up with him, figuring if I go too far with my teasing, he'll send me a PM and explain how I have been a horse's pahtoot.
And speaking of not teasing me about how old it makes me if I am familiar with Peggy Wood, first of all, I put the TV's label in my reply, whch surely dated me. AND. AND. OMG,
do I look like Larse / Papa ????!!!

Yeegods. I think we do look alike!

(Thanks for posting that old photo of them!)
P.S. It takes a great deal to get me miffed, let alone ticked-off. Having had my father die when I was ten, just a year after I had contracted polio, and having recovered from both those disasters, eventually, and having made it this far in life, as far as being older looking than you, for example, I'm just glad to have made it this far. This old suit I'm in, well, all of its wrinkles are due to a relatively long life of fun-n-games; plus, some good old hard work and service to others. I continue to pay my dues and am glad for your company, sir.
