Yes, I guess that I'll have to bring all of the cacti inside - not too much effort like it was 10 years ago when I had 40-50 of them. Still, the 2 "sentinels" by the front door are a bit of bugger to move - over 8' tall, heavy & awkward, and if you're not wearing good heavy gloves, you'll feel their wrath for days afterwards.

Oy, why do you do that to yourself? I had a few small cacti growing in a raised bed for a few years that could survive year-round. All I had to do was walk past that stuff and I was picking hair-like spines out of my hands. Finally dug them out and threw them away...after I picked all of those spines out of my hands I never looked back.
I have a prickly pear to dig up. I think that blasted thing spits needles at me when i walk by.
