Well, one thing for certain, that Empire storm trooper wasn't on a NYC subway platform because if he were , he'd have been mugged, robbed of that suit, likely shot or cut, and pee'd on before the photo was taken.

These are protesters, headed home I guess. They were protesting the President of the United States.
Libby said, "Shout out to our feminist husbands Snipe and Lesh for hanging with the kids so we could be there all day!"

Now, if you are puzzled by the term, "feminist husbands", it does not mean the man is a feminist. It just means he is the husband of a feminist. Like this poor guy...

Naw, it's not the venue, it is a political dictator named Mamata Banerjee

Mamata is currently the 8th Chief Minister of West Bengal. Prior to being elected to Chief Minister Mamata was Minister of Railways (22 May 2009 - 19 May 2011)

Before leaving her position as Minister of Railways, she decided to leave something to remember her by on the locomotives. She designed the outward look of the new Duronto Express, non-stop trains.

“The head coach of the train has an abstract painting in primary colors denoting speed, in the middle of which are a pair of legs, colored blue, in a running stance,” a source in the railways said. “Mamata has designed the look,” he said.

Seems Mamata is a known painter in Kolkata besides being a politician. She has often auctioned her paintings for various charities in Kolkata and was even seen dabbling in colors during the Trinamool’s agitation in Singur against the Tata Motors plant there. In parliament too, in the middle of long-winded speeches, she is seen doodling on her notepad.
