I learned something about Hawaii the other day. They don't have high end sneaker shops on the island. Otherwise we would have viewed mews coverage of people looting them. There must be somebody there that would want a pair of Nikes for their last few minutes on earth.

But Japan has a military, right? I'd imagine they would have very little patience with the prospect of errant missiles from Rocketman flaming over their territory and falling, however "accidentally," onto their cities, especially since they are the only country in the whole world with experience as its regards nuclear bombs falling on cities.

Defense only. I think it's actually written into their constitution as part of the peace treaty to try to prevent a repeat performance by their leaders/industrialists after what happened in WW-2.

Murph, I think a first strike against NK would have dire blowback on the US. As to China, I suspect they are quite tickled with the way NK just screws with the American government's mind.

I seem to recall that they were considering and/or did amend that aspect feeling that was too restrictive, but maybe that never get finalized :?:

I still recommend a preemptive shoe strike against the North Koreans. Don't invite the Chinese. Leave them out of it.

I don't want anyone getting hurt! We'll just bring enough fuzzy pink bunny slippers, so that they can pick them up, and throw them back at us. It won't change the nuclear balance, but we can let off some steam, and have some yucks. Better than war.

Hey Roy, maybe you can get Dennis Rodman to go with you to NK. Lil Kim likes Dennis.

If we include the Dutch, then we can claim it's multi-national action; fuzzy pink bunny slippers are much like pigs - only aerodynamic when given sufficient thrust has been applied.

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout.
