More likely total bullsheit from the anti-vaccine crowd. I can only imagine what the source of this news story is. Not a reputable scientific or medical individual in all likelihood and total speculation based upon some compost ready theory. Could it be correct? Sure. But about 99.9999% likely to be total nonsense.

Vaccines only very rarely cause antibodies that cross react with normal human tissue, as any physician or immunologist knows. And this is after centuries of research with dozens of different vaccines.

Will a vaccine give us our old lives back?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/id ... 568e161c4f

Vaccines are widely considered to be one of the greatest medical achievements of the modern world.

Every year they stop an estimated two to three million deaths, preventing more than 20 life-threatening diseases, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Childhood illnesses that were common less than a generation ago are increasingly rare. And smallpox - which killed hundreds of millions of people - has been completely eradicated.

But these successes have taken decades to achieve - and many of us are now expecting effective coronavirus vaccines to have similar results in a radically shorter time frame.

News that some of the emerging vaccines are more than 90% effective - meaning about nine in 10 people receiving them would be protected from developing Covid-19 - has led many to believe we could soon be ditching social distancing and throwing away our face masks.

In the US and the UK, where regulatory approval for the jabs is being granted quickly and mass vaccination programmes planned, some have even suggested life could be back to normal by spring.

But many scientists and global health experts are warning that vaccines, with limited initial supplies and roll-out to selected groups, although protecting vulnerable groups and front-line health workers, are unlikely to transport us back to our old way of living anytime soon.

Tedros Ghebreyesus, head of the WHO, has said as much himself.

"A vaccine will complement the other tools we have, not replace them," he said. "A vaccine on its own will not end the pandemic."

I told my wife sometime ago to expect to be wearing masks for years and that the normal we knew would probably not return during our lifetimes.

No one will be forced to receive the vaccine. These people (the experts quoted in the article) are probably unemployed for a reason.

Covid: Russia begins vaccinations in Moscow
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-55198166

Russia is starting its Covid-19 vaccination programme, with clinics in the capital Moscow inoculating those most at risk from the virus.

Its own vaccine Sputnik V, which was registered in August, is being used.

Developers say it is 95% effective and causes no major side effects, but it is still undergoing mass testing.

Thousands of people have already registered to get the first of two jabs over the weekend, but it is unclear how much Russia can manufacture.

Producers are only expected to make two million doses of the vaccine by the end of the year.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, who announced the programme earlier in the week, said it was being offered to people in the city of 13 million who work in schools and the health service, and social workers.

He said the list would grow as more of the vaccine became available.

An online registration service allows city residents in the above professions aged 18-60 to book free appointments at 70 sites around the city.

Probably another year (we haven't even made it through the first year), aka 2022, quite possibly early 4th quarter of 2021.

Re the previous posts of the possible side effects of the vaccine causing sterility. Total BS. One of the cited articles actually states as much in the concluding paragraphs.

Yes, but the anti vaccine bunch will never see that or ignore it if they did.

"Normal" is always changing and we only go forward, not backwards. Yes, probably 2022 before we are over the hump that we are still climbing up.

Lots of BS and made up crap being circulated.........like the RFID chip on the vial will track you after you get the vaccine....that the vaccine is for mind control.......       Only demonstrates the sad state of ignorance and poor education that we have in this country.
The average train of thought isn’t big enough to carry a full sized opinion on any subject.

COVID-19 vaccines on their way to N.J. hospitals
https://www.nj.com/coronavirus/2020/12/ ... itals.html

A handful of New Jersey hospitals could receive batches of the new COVID-19 vaccines in a matter of days, Gov. Phil Murphy said Friday.

The news of the selected hospitals comes as the nation prepares for one of the most massive and complicated vaccine distribution campaigns in American history.

Six hospitals were chosen, according to a report by NorthJersey.com: AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, Cooper University Hospital in Camden, Hackensack University Medical Center, Morristown Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick and University Hospital in Newark.

Very interesting:
In the News today
More than half of NYC firefighters (FDNY) would refuse - are refusing taking a Covid vaccine.
