One word: Charlottesville. Good people on both sides according to our idiot dangerous President.

Most mass shootings have lately been by crazed racists, anti-semites or nativist psychos, not leftists. But don’t let the facts deter your contempt for liberals.

While we're at it, your phrase about liberals in your signature is truly lacking in nuance and decency. How would you like a signature that stated "Conservatives killed Jesus, Europe's Jews and enslaved millions of Africans and don't give a damn about anyone except themselves?" More truth to it than your signature. Liberals like Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, etc. gave you the country where you are free to slander those with different policy preferences than your own. Have some decency at long last Mitch.

PS--I'm wrong about the poll. I assumed it was some Breitbart or Fox News disinformation, but it's not. It just shows that participants and researchers have a better sense of humor than Mitch. It's meant as a joke. You neglected to mention that almost 1/3 of the self-identified Republicans/conservatives agreed with the meteor strike preference :). A tribute to their sense of humor.

Did the DNC railroad Bernie Sanders back in 2016 in favor of Hillary Clinton. ??

Are they doing it again to favor someone besides Sander's ??

Mike Bloomberg Gave the DNC $300K Two Days Before He Entered the 2020 Race.

And now the DNC is changing its rules in a way very favorable to ... Mike Bloomberg.

Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg got some great news recently. The Democratic National Committee announced it would drop its donor requirement for its February 19 debate, meaning Bloomberg, who is self-funding his 2020 presidential campaign, could qualify for the debate stage for the first time.

That change follows a spike in Bloomberg’s national polling as he’s blanketed the country in ads in an explicit strategy to focus on the post-February states. It also comes several months after Bloomberg gave $300,000 to the DNC in three donations on the same day in November.

Bloomberg’s Democratic competitors, already criticizing him for buying his way into the election, blasted the DNC for changing the rules in a way that appears to favor one candidate: Bloomberg.

"If you agree with a Liberal, it's freedom of speech. If you disagree, it's hate speech. There are no alternatives."

What's your ethnicity, religion or other identity Mitch? How would you like it if someone posted a comment about "all X's are this or that bad thing?"
Pretty appalling and you'd be angry, and justly so. Liberals don't exist as a homogeneous group except in your mind.

Tom Steyer spent about $1,900 for every vote he got in New Hampshire
https://news.yahoo.com/plant-trillion-t ... 15819.html

There are a lot of ways to spend $19 million. Buying TV ads in a presidential race you have close to zero chance of winning probably shouldn't be one of them.

Billionaire philanthropist Tom Steyer has dumped tons of his own money into the 2020 Democratic presidential race, coming in second to only former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in terms of spending on TV and Facebook ads. But unlike Bloomberg, Steyer has failed to gain more than an ounce of momentum after all was spent and done — a fact that was glaringly obvious after his sixth place finish in Tuesday's New Hampshire primaries.

Steyer spent $19.2 million on TV and radio ads leading up the New Hampshire's vote, NBC News reports, and earned just over 10,000 votes. That's about $1,850 spent on each vote.

Maybe it would have been better to drive around with a pickup load of hundred dollar bill and offer people a hundred dollars to vote for them.

I'd vote for a guy that gave me $100.00.

I don't understand why the Democrats aren't playing up Trump's vow to slash entitlement spending. Seems to me the threat to dial back Social Security payments, Medicare coverage, and wiping 10 million people off the Medicaid rolls plays right into the worst fears of much of their constituency (if not a substantial sub-section of his Republican "base" as well). Trump says stuff like "we're not looking at that for 2021", lol. He's got to pay for that $1.7 trillion tax cut somehow.

Congress controls Social Security and Medicare. Not the president. Congress has to approve everything about it.

Just like years ago when congress slipped the wennie to the American people when they took the surplus from Social Security and used it for whatever they wanted. Left a big IOU they can't pay back.

Any politician that would dare touch Social Security or Medicare would be sighing their own death certificate.

Not unlike past administrations that celebrated tax cuts, paying for them is a worry for a future generation.

Sort of like the credit card offer I got yesterday - APR of 0% for the 1st year and then 15.5-25.5% thereafter.

He's not worried about the thereafter,

Kind of like all those state democrat politicians that keep approving more retirement benefits for government workers and go billion of dollars in debt and don't have the money to pay for it. I think they call that kicking the can down the road.

Yep. Good example of a practice that both parties practice while lying to their supporters. Vote for me now and I'll give you this prize that your grand-children will end up paying for while cursing your name.
