That would no doubt be a collateral benefit of all her efforts, but the bending and the reaching down would likely be the most notable focus of her efforts. IMHO

That should scare a poor little kid into doing as his/her parents say.

Better than many given the events that take place in that career pathway, age, and parenting deficits.

Don't forget to include their deliberate decisions and self-indulgences. :(

I tend to file a lot of bad decision making and self-indulgence on poor parenting and lousy parents, the lack of an instillation of values and morals, etc......

...and the burning-desire, by some parents, to win the approval of their children, hoping they will think they are cool. An example would be that commercial on TV for some sort of after-shave, which, when the father tosses a bottle to his son, we hear the son say to the father, "Cool," granting his approval to his parent for a good move toward the son.

Entitlement or the Kardashian/ Paris Hilton effect Rich and famous for tossing your legs behind your ears. Then having the video of it stolen. Being the father of a 2 year old daughter i cringe at some of the things i see. Who the heck lets their 10-12 old girls wear yoga pants. Cool mommy i guess. I see 10 year old girls walking out of Victoria's secrets with shopping bags. I must be the mean father :x

My 13 year old straight "A" student just got detention for the second day in a row. Let's see how Mr. Class Clown laughs off no laptop and cell phone for a week. :x

If you have to emulate such to win the approval of one's child, it's a good bet that it's too late and that there's something seriously wrong already.

Yup! There's an echo in here............

I have a nephew that gets just about anything he wants since his parents have abdicated any desire to make use of the word "no" his entire life, and they think he's got some learning/development problem.......so guess who's in control there,    He's smarter than the 2 of them combined.
