LOL, I had a dream last night that I visited Jon, who lived locally, and he took me to a neighbor's house who had a layout upon which all the O-gauge people-on-the-street were moving their legs and freely walking around, without any wire-tethers. It made for a quite stunning effect.
I guess Jon's painted engine figures made quite the impression on me!

Were you drinking that hooch with the green tinge to it?

Pete, you were here last night! You left your lantern on the kitchen table. The little people were bringing us that hooch to sip on. But hey, we did finish our first railroad inspired rap song!

There's a reason for this short term fix.
"They see me rollin' with my toothpicks!!"

Any how's it was a short walk for you up the tracks to your place.
Come on back anytime!

All fixed, lubed, and cleaned up now.

Just waiting on a 20mm X 1mm glass headlamp lens from this place before hitting the rails.
