That's some good lookin' wood! At first-glance, I thought it was a miniature fence for your modelRR. Man, talk about seeing with a particular frame-of-reference!

Wayne,

I thought the same as Wayne.

So what is the purpose?

It snowed in Tucson yesterday.

I did not get any great pictures like darsenau. I did like the snow on clothes pins (sno pins.)

They are Chinese cloths pins. The wood does not weather well in the desert. Down at the end are some USA clothes pins. They weather either grey or brown.

Daisy seems pleased about the new release of Tramp's novel. It is now distributed by the University of New England Press. There are 47 reviews on Amazon, three by fellow hobos. Thanks for those!

Book is on my new Kindle to take on my next bit of travel.....

Thank you Mitch. It is always a thrill to hear the Cactus Cuties sing our National Anthem.

December, 2008, the Cactus Cuties sing for the troops in DFW terminal to show their support.

Great photo of you Daisy. Congratulations to Tramp on the new publisher.

Wayne seems to find beauty almost everywhere.
I think he has super sight of some kind.
Besides he takes photos of little bitty things and lets
us see things some of us can't normally see.

What is the size of that plant,Wayne?
Now after what I said above he'll tell
us that plant is three feet tall.

The Scorpion Weeds I eradicated from my garden were 5 to 6 inches tall.

Image

My reference says they can grow to 18 inches. They are not very impressive when looking down on them, but when I held one up, back lit by the sun, the yellow center seemed to shine with its own light.

What is that 13' tall yellow thing called?

You know how to find the stuff that is usually beautiful in some way.
Thanks again.

Roger,

Octopus Aqave (Agave vilmoriniana). Unfortunately, flowering is a one time thing, all agave species die after flowering.
