I have not bought an MR for years.I do subscribe to CTT,OGR and OST.I will buy RMC.

I have found a similarity with Trains and Railfan & Railroad.R&R has more up to date news than trains.Trains has quotes throught articles that are just iterations of stuff in the article.I think this is a waste [sort of like most of what I post here].I could make a side-by-side comparison of the two but do not want to take the time.Sometime ago Trains had all the facts and R&R had all the good railfan stuff.
Until three years ago I subscribed to both but now to neither.I check them in a bookstore and get what interests me.I have @40 years of trains,30 years of R&R before I dropped subscriptions.I have all of Classic Trains.[Not Toy.]I do have an interest in railroad history.

Bless you my little brother Pete for this meal you have set before me. You certainly heeded the old outlaw biker creed I used to recite you:
"As you are now
So once was I
As I am now
So shall you become." 8)

There are some questions that neither man nor beast are meant to know the answers.

Then again, maybe the beasts are.......

Here's one for you dog owners.

There's 5 videos to the page. You want the 3rd one down, that is titled "Dude is too super-cool for his traffic ticket".

Mike, ??? You lost me on that one.

It's a joke-video about how much dogs love their owners, that the cop would think he was cool too, if he thought like a dog.

Are you sure you watched the right one?

Bad attempt at humor on my part Dirt. Ignore it, it was a misfire. I did watch the video but what made me chuckle was the ending with the dog looking adoringly at the driver.

It was that which made me add the comment "No sheep is safe.." referring to the well known English rural humor about lonely men and sheep.

Anybody get much in the way of snow last night / today?

Just a little here in No. VA where I am - maybe an inch with a bit of frozen stuff on top.

We got about a half a foot here in my section of western Pa., and I must say, the new Troybuilt works really well! :D

We topped out around two and a half inches here in north-central Maryland. I had my brother rebuild the carb on the Ariens, which he delivered around seven-thirty last night...that right there killed the chance for any significant snow-fall overnight or anytime soon.

About an inch of the nasty crap, not enough to worry with, and it should be gone by Monday.

Mt OLD Lambert snowblower is still scattered about the Garage of Doom, can't find auger bearings. Not that I really care...

If our temperature had dropped about 45 degrees today we might have had snow instead of rain this evening. :) :)
