Strikingly interesting, Wayne. Thank you for posting that information. I was hoping you would add your excellent mind to the inquiry. Including The Bible to the perspective you supplied added a depth that was very welcome, indeed, as well as intriguing.

Mitch wrote:It's not just the tarriffs causing the problems. When Trump started this, China enjoyed a 7:1 advantage in trade, saddling us with a monstrous deficit. Our markets were wide open to them, and theirs are very restricted to us. Plus, you must remember all of China's theft of intellectual property of the U.S., accounting for literally hundreds of billions in profit for China. So the Trumpman is negotiating trying to achieve parity, while China wants to be the worlds' top dog. There's a few hundred places in the world where American business could have products manufactured, (including right here), and many of them would do it cheaper than China as they try to get their economies up and running. Why cater to the Hammer & Sickle? I'm sure you've all read or heard how China dictates exactly how a business will be run. Business's should be working diligently, (or at least planning), to leave the Commie country. The only reason they allow limited capitalism is to siphon off the cash to increase the size and stature of their military.

Seems your comment fell on deaf ears. There's nothing 100% correct in our world and its all shades of gray, but for the record I agree with you. :D

Yap
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yap

Yap or Wa′ab (Yapese: Waqab[1]) traditionally refers to an island group located in the Caroline Islands of the western Pacific Ocean, a part of Yap State. The name "Yap" in recent years has come to also refer to the state within the Federated States of Micronesia, inclusive of the Yap Main Islands and its various outer islands. For specifying the island group, the name Yap Main Islands is most exact.

More than 30 militarized police and National Guard members were quickly outmatched by cartel gunmen, with gunmen, some wearing black ski masks over their faces, firing mounted machine guns as vehicles burned around them.

Remember Eric Gardener (I can't Breath) who was being arrested for selling un-taxed cigs in NY. Shound not have been a big deal for NY but apparently it is. New York state $21 million each year in lost tax revenues.

California, NYC allege in lawsuit Postal Service turns blind eye to smuggled cigarettes
https://www.foxnews.com/us/california-n ... cigarettes

New York City and California filed a joint lawsuit Tuesday against the U.S. Postal Service to stop the mail service provider from shipping thousands of cartons of cigarettes from foreign countries to U.S. residents in an attempt to curtail cigarette tax evasion.

The lawsuit filed in Brooklyn federal court alleges cigarette mail deliveries from Vietnam, Israel, China and other countries cost California around $19 million annually and New York City and New York state $21 million each year in lost tax revenues.

“Cigarette smuggling doesn’t just break the law – it endangers the health of countless Americans and enriches terrorists and organized crime,” New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a statement. “Yet despite all of this, our nation’s own postal service has ignored the practice and enabled one of the biggest killers in our country. It needs to end, and we intend to be the ones to end it.”

IMHO the politicians care very little about the health of their citizens but quite a bit about the taxes from tobacco products.

They care as much as the insurance companies and pharma pay them to care.

Are you saying there are sites with more freedom to express oneself and with a broader array of topics than we enjoy here ?!?!

And what have you found threatening about posting here?

I'd very much like to have that information from you, sir.

Sir Murph,

Thank you for your questions.

Roger, Hondo74, Rufus, have fleshed out my comments adequately.

Yes, There ARE other sites with the same freedoms/restrictions on topics/contents
as MTJ for the same (and/or additional) reasons.

Consider the FACT that that (I trust my grammar is correct,) trillion(s) of websites EXIST denys the assumption that MTJ is the only or most unique.

I feel 'threatened' by the FACT that ANYTHING that 'I/you/we/they' post 'here/there/anywhere', will further restrict any/or all of my remaining "freedoms and privileges"

Exactly why I enjoy hearing from you, Myron R. Moore. You add valuable perspective. So, I do hope, of course, that you continue to share your thoughts with us here, and would not want to lose you.

Mr Trump is accused of holding up $392 million in military aid to the Ukraine in an effort to pressure Mr Zelenskiy into investigating Joe Biden, and his son Hunter, for corruption.

Question.....

Why the FK are we giving one of the most corrupt countries in the world $392 million in military aid ????? The Ukraine is not a Nato country and this is Europe's backyard. And yes I do recognize that without the US to lead Nato and Europe they just wonder around with their thumbs up their A$$.
