Sounds like Chris Rock slipped over in the night and left you the Curse of the Chinese Grass, no doubt in revenge for laughing at his going after his bamboo with napalm and Agent Orange.

What? I never! I haven't polluted his model railroad mind, either. I'm innocent. Innocent, I tell you! I shan't permit you to besmirch my stellar character in such a cavalier fashion.

How droll,

No, Chris did not share bamboo; if anything, I probably had a patch roughly 2/3'rds of the size of your garage that towered over the 2nd story of the house.

One has to wonder why American suburbanites imported that stuff, especially without the pandas to balance the food chain. Probably read too many issues of "Better Homes and Barracks"; what to plant for an Oriental flavour in your own back yard. Having been sent to the Orient a time or two, one has to wonder what the bloody attraction is...

If you want something aggressive, wisteria will do nicely.

Pandas only eat specific species of bamboo; this stuff would have made quite a few nice fishing poles though,

I remember kudzu as well - between it and bamboo you'd think we'd have enough biomass available to fuel the country,

Puberty begins around 12 years of age for boys and ends around age 16. I think Justin has already been though it, he turned 16 on March 1, 2010. Time to fade away Justin.

He's OK. But we all know that someday he's going to need something far more than a nice face and a trendy hair-do to get through life and acquire friends, which he probably already suspects, as likely do his parents. However, for now, he's riding high on a wave of opportunity, and I applaud him for his nerve and pluck. I do indeed.
