Pop star Rita Ora has apologised for a second breach of the UK's Covid-19 restrictions, after failing to self-isolate following a trip to Egypt.

The 30-year-old flew to Egypt for a private performance on 21 November. On her return the following day, she should have isolated for two weeks.

Instead, she threw a birthday party in London, which was itself in violation of lockdown rules.

The star apologised for the party last week, and offered to pay a fine.

I can understand older people sometimes acting like idiots since I am an older people.
It makes more sense to me for an old codger to take idiotic chances since they have less to live for than young people.
But it seems to be the other way. Those that have much to live for taking big chances.

Have you ever seen, perhaps on a tv show like "Ridiculousness," a middle-aged (perhaps) woman possessed of droopy watermelon sized breasts, lift one up, and smash a beer-can flat with it.
Why would a woman do that? I've seen it a couple times and am, somehow, offended by it and appalled at the same time .

Of course, there are always a couple drooling younger men looking on amazed, standing right next to her.

I haven't seen much like that. Not that I think I am too good but my wife likes old westerns and series like Gunsmoke so I watch them with her to keep a little peace in the house. I have become much more appreciative of Gunsmoke recently. When it was originally broadcast we lived in areas where that network could not be picked up, pre cable, or I was working. Gunsmoke has some really good music for a TV western by some first rate award winning composers.

I haven't seen The Virginian on any of the retro channels (MeTV,H&I,TVLand). Maybe because they were 90 minute episodes? It was also set much later than most of the other shows, actually almost to the turn of the 20th Century (1898).

High Chaparral is also a favorite.Also the Virginian which is shown on a regular basis on the INSP network.
