As for the young lady... in a fight... no offense... but my money's on her.

Happy Father's Day!

I guess it's obvious I couldn't even straighten up in that second picture, huh...

A double-shot of Aleve and a couple of Millers and things are a bit better now...

I have all the proof that you will need. Green tractors were made for parades. This years parade had an odd start. Like all years the Marines marched first with the flags. then came the odd part. British sports cars and a bagpipe band followed by the sewer sweeper. Anyway happy 4th.

Perhaps a back-handed comment regarding Scottish independence...

Looks like it was a fun event. The red tractors looked pretty sharp as well

I was rather lamenting the loss of the traditional small town July 4th parade, so thanks so much for these photos and allowing us to join you!

I don't see an oddity, but the enlightenment of what the United States should be. Those are Americans driving those little British cars alongside the tractors, playing in pipe bands, and making the diversity of the parade something uniquely American.

The oddity is more of a local joke. That sewer truck always is the last thing to roll through. It's known as the PRIDE OF CHALFONT. The only time it see the road is during the parade. The Scottish pipers were the only band with a drummer and the Marine Color Guard wanted drums past the cemetery.

Robert, LOL!! By its place in the line-up of pictures, I thought the "Pride of Chalfont" was near the front of the parade, right behind the pipe band!

Excellent pictures. Some of those JDs are old-timers.. I liked them the best.

Nice parade essay! Thanks.

Besides the red and green contingent, I spy one of them orange tractors, too!

But whatever is that pink thing???

Have not been to Chalfont in a long time; used to frequent Line Lexington at one time.
