My Fritzy O
I Try to forget about it
But you are so... typical predictable
Baby I knew the end before it started
You got me feelin' like I owed you something
Cuz you were there at times when I had nothing
But you threw it all away
With the shady things you do
You Fritzy O
Baby please forgive me
For what I'm about to say
And what I'm about to do
I can't take no more
I know you ain't been true
Ain't got no love for you
You Fritzy O
I ignore my intuition
And pass it off as a suspicion
But you were just so bold
You kept puttin' it in my face
You let my down when I needed you
You Fritzy O
You've been cheatin' and tellin' me lies
You've been creepin' while I'm sleepin' at night
And you've been drink'n my beer
And you've been messin' round and lyin' down
It's over now, you Fritzy O

That is an Apple Headed Balinese Cat-from-Hell Murph. It is now nine months old and I no longer need gloves to handle it. It spent about eight months soaking wet because my wife and I were armed with squirt guns. Every time we got bit or scratched we would open fire on it. The Cat-from-Hell finally figured out that it was smarter not to bite. I think we will keep it. I was just fun'n about cooking it. (Honest D.)
How about this one Murph? Even coyotes will not mess with one of these. Want one?

This one showed up at MDA here in Tucson. Of course all work stopped while the employee's argued about whether to feed it or not. Fear won out and they did not let it in. After getting its picture taken through the window glass it left.

Re: Hobo Jungle
Those back tootsies look like Cheetah paws! And that face & ears look a little Lynx-like. I'll pass on that one. If I want a cat that bad, I'll go to the local shelter and audition until one reaches out for me through the bars.
You must lead some interesting life out there in the SW. I thought - I have no idea how I got to that conclusion - that your neck-of-the-nonwoods was all calm and quiet, which I thought was a stated purpose folks emigrated there in the first place. No?

The cat is known locally as a "bobcat." If you have one as a pet, it will get its way, or else. Look at the bobcat in the image... got its own bed.
I had to think about the difference between the East and West. I have found calm and quiet places in Toronto, Chicago, Washington DC, Tampa Bay, Orlando, New Orleans. No need to leave where you are for calm and quiet. The reason folks emigrated west in the first place is because the United States Government wanted to settle the West. The incentive offered was free land. Maybe a few had other reasons. For example, my wife's grandfather, Caleb Martin, was a slave who joined the Union Army to escape slavery. He served in Arizona and liked it here so much that he stayed after the war was over. The Homestead Act had passed during the Civil War so, with some cattle given to him by his friend Col. Hooker, he started "The Milk Ranch" in Bonita, AZ on land that he obtained via the Homestead Act. Caleb married Daisy Edwards, an army nurse and soon had sons who homesteaded adjacent properties. The Martin family soon became one of the wealthiest cattle families in Arizona. And that my friend is the reason folks emigrated here in the first place... $$$ and freedom.

It looks like an evil teenager that went out the night before, to do whatever it is teens do away from their parents at night, then came back but didn't change back into human form before morning.

Looks like the redhead after I've pissed her off.
Wayne, thanks for the mini-history lesson. That was fascinating. I'd wager your good wife has some interesting stories.
How about you? You native to Arizona?

No Pete, I was born in Long Beach, CA. Lived in Long Beach, North Long Beach, Lakewood, Carson, Monterey, Jolon and Reseda, CA, before moving to Tucson. I spent 29 years in CA and so far 38 years in AZ. I would say that I am more AZ than CA.

Roger,
Caleb Martin was born in 1848. He was only 16 when he joined the Union Army.

Wayne:
Check this one out.
Two hillbillies walk into a restaurant. While having a bite to eat, they talk about their moonshine operation.
Suddenly, a woman at a nearby table, who is eating a sandwich, begins to cough. After a minute or so, it becomes apparent that she is in
real distress. One of the hillbillies looks at her and says,
'Kin ya swallar?'
The woman shakes her head no.
Then he asks, 'Kin ya breathe?'
The woman begins to turn blue and shakes her head no.
The hillbilly walks over to the woman, lifts up her dress, yanks down her drawers and quickly gives her right butt cheek a lick with his tongue.
The woman is so shocked that she has a violent spasm and the obstruction flies out of her mouth.
As she begins to breathe again, the Hillbilly walks slowly back to his table.
His partner says, 'Ya know, I'd heerd of that there 'Hind Lick Maneuver' but I ain't niver seed nobody do it!'

I git the feeling if'n it were you or I choking his partner would be saying, "How come ya didn't do that there 'Hind Lick Maneuver' on the old guy?" The other would respond, "Cus, last time I did it to a guy, saved his life too, he gave me a black eye."
