I'm in the jungle examining this movie frame by frame. The stunt is not done the way it appears while watching it.



There are a few things in the movie that Tramp did not have the luxury of having.
1) There is a path for the actor to run down.
2) There is a handle for the actor to grab at the doorway.
3) There is a Tramp-oline for the actor to bounce off of.
4) There are bars under the boxcar that do not belong. Do they hold a net to
prevent the actor from going under the car if he slips?

OK. That's it. It was a Hollywood stunt, not the way real hobos do it.
I'm catching the next freight to Gomer's. See ya there.

I'm 75 and have noticed that with my body and brain[?] if it doesn't hurt it is slowing down.

One thing that I feel a need for is to speed up the scenery work on my layout.I would like for it to be fairly complete while I can still enjoy it.

Thanks.I got most of my scenic materials from that company because they were cheaper,including s&h,than any stores in my area.I had not seen that stuff.
