I had a trashshiba. Came with 8, upgraded (for free) to 8.1 Pro. Never booted smoothy from new. Finally late last year it did a bear in the woods. Motherboard. Not even close to worth fixing. Last trashshiba I'll ever own, plus look at all the trashshiba bloatware I don't have to deal with!

Must have been because of that smoothy. Shouldn't pour them on your motherboard, makes that mother sticky!

I probably didn't do it any favors. Being USN (SS), and Nuclear Power to boot, Toshiba is a swear word in the service, even 35 years later.
