Humans (Homo Sapiens) are in the Mammalia class.

Then, can any of their fellow mammalians be possessed of Class?

How 'bout horses?
Dogs ?
Brave, desert-dwelling kitty-cats ?

Kidding me? This dog definitely has class:

They have the dignity of Life, but "Class", I can't say.

And children who bravely try to ride them and hold-on-for-dear-life sure have something extra !

P.S. You don't want to comment about brave kitty-cats who live in a nice guy's hacienda in a desert landscape ?

Can't say much positive for the parents of those children.......

Some soy and fish sauce, scallions, and hot oil in the wok............Yum!

That's an understatement. Got to wonder where the parents heads are at. So, your child sustains an injury that might change the direction of his life...............what do you say to them when their old enough to understand.

They deliver, and will extra steamed rice and some Hoisin sauce, too.

And instant gratification. I want it now.....

And then there are the Entitled Ones, ever at the ready to criticize others and to have their hands outstretched for what they are certain they are owed by society , the absolute polar opposites of what Chuck described as necessary elements to having Class.

I don't think this is anything new. I just think it is easier to express and pass along today.

Yes, an animal that buries its poop is a class act.

I think Wayne's statement is just one of the reasons why I like cats better than dogs.

We had a dog that was very private about doing her business. She would try to hide under shrubbery or behind bushes and would make an attempt to burry it by kicking dirt back over it. The later was usually pretty futile as the ground was pretty hard. She'd pee wherever she felt like but number 2 she was much more modest about.

She was a pretty classy lady and was a rescue dog to boot. She actually picked me. When visiting the shelter she came up to the front of the pen and stood up on her hind legs and tried to lick my finger through the chain link.

German Sheppard/Labrador mix. Great dog, I miss her.

She seems - feels - even from this distance, beautiful, well beyond just the physical.

Thanks Murph. She was an exceptionally good soul. Didn't like other dogs on "her" property and had issues with guys in uniform. We don't even know how she knew it was a "uniform", UPS, USPS, cop, even a priest in his cassock. She didn't react to the letter carrier when he dropped by in civvies to see my grandfather (they were old friends) and she didn't react to the priest when he was in street clothes (he made weekly visits to see my 80+ year old great grandmother). If they showed up in "costume" she'd go ballistic.

Her she is with our daughter at my mom's house. Jeanine was about 14 months old.
