New roof
Re: New roof
Place some pennies up on the roof peak. Also 2 bare copper wires. One on each side of the peak will work. Moss and mildew will go away as copper washes down.
I spend entirely too many hours a day tying my shoes

Re: New roof
Yery, very interesting to me that this morning I "just happened" to get a phone call about having Solar Panels installed on my roof, to the point of when I declined, the caller had the nerve to ask me to explain why not (if I didn't mind telling him.)
When I first posted the question, in this thread, about such panels, I saved a photo of Solar Panels from an advertisement.

Curious - what was their offer?

I didn't give them a chance to offer; Simply said No Thanks and Goodbye.
I'll do business (and converse with) entities who I call/contact, not who call me unsolicited. Period.

Just thought you might have taken the opportunity to gather some information.

Re: New roof
Nah, what you guys explained to me here was enough, especially since my interest in having them was merely in-passing, with a sprinkling of being curious. That was sufficient for me; my "interest" was tepid, at best.
And unsolicited callers have become anathema to me.
Thanks again for your kind input.
