Seen in Print
Re: Seen in Print
We need more fun people/things in life. That car is a good example of what would be a good start.

While I agree, I expect that some will only see self-indulgence and foolishness in that car.
Having fun is difficult in a country that is populated by an excessive percentage of small-minded and/or puritan mind sets.
There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.

If changing that car like that gave its owner enjoyment, where is the harm, one might ask. And if it amuses it’s owner to drive it around and experience the reactions of onlookers, bravo for him/her, I say.
Personally, meeting it’s craftsperson might prove interesting . Somebody that playful couldn’t be boring.

And yet there are hundreds of thousands of people that are trying to get into this country that is populated by an excessive percentage of small-minded and/or puritan mind sets.... They must be idiots to think they can have fun here.

Yeah......no, where they are coming from is worse. We keep forgetting how good we have it here, take way too much for granted, how little many others have, and then we waste what we have.....all too often we're the idiots.

Gas prices so high. Stations owners are afraid to advertise them. Gas jumped 38 cents in 2 days

You know those kids are in heaven, right here on Earth (!)
P.S. And the two eyeball headlights on the sidecar, sharing the attitude of the ones on grandpa’s bike, are a very nice touch.

Looks like a good way for a couple of young one to get killed or seriously injured. TO many accidents happen today where the the driver of a car or truck didn't see the motorcycle....

Totally agree. I had two very careful friends in the 70's who lost legs due to someone else's lack of concentration and I've heard all my adult life about life changes due to motorcycle accidents.
I know they're huge in this country, but they've never been my cup of tea....way too many serious accidents with motorcycles
The saddest part of that photo. It speaks volumes about the parents of those kids.......total idiots.

Yup, and I see more and more riding w/o helmets and all..........there's your personal freedoms as they scrape your grey matter off the blacktop.

At least they are wearing helmets....which beats all the kids out on bikes, boards, etc. w/o any protection at all.
