But can we be sure those leaves in that can are actually tea?

Questions, questions, questions.
Just drink, or whatever, the tea and be happy.

Leaves? No idea. I find every time that that can gets opened that all sorts of complications happen....blame, responsibility, authority, decision making, etc.

Then again, it's also right next to this can...

The barn above looks like ones that are still in use in southeastern Ohio and eastern Kentucky.
Notice how the small building is propped up.

Barns seem to last forever. The barn at what was my great grandfather's farm that dates to the very early 1800's continues on in good form.

Notice how the small building is propped up.

Another routine practice - prop it up and worry about actually fixing it when necessary - good enough for now!

Timber framed barns in Europe are documented to be over 400 years old. Keep a good roof on and good drainage, they'll last for centuries. We have some in this country well over 200 years old.

Very true! In the late '70s my parents actually bought a barn for salvage. We disassembled it selling off the exterior and interior boards, and then the beams and even reused the roof (recently done over). That one was dated in the mid to late 1700's. The one at the family farm was dated to 180? - can't read the last number.....

I think the shadows on the ground are cool.
There is info with the photo that it is 1944.
Sometime in 1943 or 1944 several blimps spent a short period of time "cruising" over the upper Ohio River valley.
No mention of this was made in the local area newspapers. There was a little talk around town and most people
seemed to think it was a training mission. Most people in the area were very patriotic and would not do anything
that would hurt the war effort in any way. Now you got to realize I was all of 10 years old and was rather knowledgeable
for things about the war. The only persons I knew that might have been considered war criminals were some cousins
and uncles who were Jehovah Witnesses who refused to have anything to do with the war effort and went to prison.
They were released shortly after the end of the war. I also had friends that were Quakers that served in the armed
forces in positions that did not require the use of fire arms or, this is hard to make clear, the direct taking of life.
One of those enlisted in 1942 and served as a Chaplains assistant. Several others were in the medical corps.
Look where that old photo took me. I had not thought about any of this in @ 60 years.
