OH back in '79 I was on a reefer headed west to Butte. Happened to be a Ginger Ale car. Car next to her happened to be a Schlitz car. There were hoes everywhere. We made shantys and that's all I can say here.

How weird to think I'll most likely never find myself riding in a box car ala hoboette. Strange series of shedding off things like that as you go through life realizing I'll never be a lawyer (THANK GOG) but still young visions of eloquent To Kill a Mockingbird performances for justice in the courtroom I'll never be a doctor (Too gross I totally pass out even thinking about it) I'll never be a cool old black guy playing trombone in a jazz band in the 20s. You just have to accept this shedding off of dreams as your actual life carves its line in reality. At least there are amazing visionary imaginary realms. Guess Feb is startin' out with a bang. Got called out this morning to a 2 alarm barn fire. It was raining then frezzin' on the roadway. Drivin' a fire truck on icy roads is no picnic. Had to travel 12 miles to the fire.

The barn was used for storage. They had a lot of old classic cars in there plus a lot of propane tanks. Need I say more...........................Was there for about 6 hrs and then finished the day going to work around noontime and got done workin' around 6 o'clock .

I'm wore out. Time to lay back and have a couple Captain's.....................
