Just about time for Tracks Ahead on PBS. They're finally doin' some programs after what seems like months of pledging.

You gotta love their pitch. "How can we continue to bring you that select programming if you don't pledge to support us?". Every Saturday when I wanta watch New Yankee Workshop and Tracks Ahead, they're running continuous cooking shows and pledging. :roll:

Public Broadcasting System my ***. They get millions from advertisers who sponsor the programs we want to see, but then ask us for millions to show them to us.

I try and limit my intake of PBS to just Clifford The Big Red Dog. It's even more enjoyable after a half gallon of vodka. I long for the old days of Beavis And Butthead on MTV! :D

I have had the same experience. At one of my wife's company dinners, one guy kept blowing cigarette smoke at me. I told him he could put it out or swallow it. I would help him swallow it. He put it out. I was disappointed. I really wanted to shove it down his throat.

Pre-Corvette. I had a 50 Chevy Suburban and the wife had a VW Beetle back then.

I don't know how long you have been married but from the pictures you have posted you seem to have a lovely family.So just find a way to keep her happy for a few more hours.I feel sure you have been doing this for some time anyway so a little longer won't hurt too much.

How'd dinner go?

I never found the food worth going for. However, company dinners were not totally without entertainment. It was kinda like the lunch scene in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. After having dinner with a bunch of psychopaths my wife and I would compare notes. (She is a psychiatric nurse.)

Tramp, no sweet stuff!!!!! Corona beer was all that was left!!!!!! Kind of like starting out a drive in a BMW and finishing it on a bicycle!!!!! :lol: :lol: As for my outfit, it was hell trying to find a pair of pumps to go with it!!!!

Andre, AWESOME shots of the bomber!!!!!! Is it Franklin Mint who makes them in 1:48 scale? I think I've seen them in Diecastdirect.com
