Whatzit?
Re: Whatzit?
Model of an F1 or Indy car.
Re: Whatzit?
Is the white pipe/flange in the background just background or an integral part of the object?
I've downloaded the image, flipped it and adjusted the brightness contrast. There appear to be several more "wheels" than are first apparent.
Monorail boggie?

Monorail boggie?
Once I built a railroad, I made it run,
Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad, now it's done --
Brother, can you spare a dime?

Sorry Murph, Healey beat you to it with and exact answer. All I was looking for was, "Ferrari Roller Coaster."
I do not consider looking it up in any way you can cheating Healy, good job.

Personally, I would rather ride the slow Train Roller Coaster at Disneyland (and I have.)

Wayne, I'm betting you've also ridden the Calico Mine Ride at Knott's.

Sorry Roy, I never rode any of the amusement park rides at Knott's.
I rode the narrow gauge railway a few times when Knott's was a free ghost town. When they started charging an entry fee I talked them into letting me in free to visit the model train store... until the train store closed... after that I only visited Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner restaurant a few times with dates.

Well, maybe it's something to look forward to, if you ever find yourself back in L.A. It is a coaster, and it is train-based. I'm surprised you didn't take it, back in the days before park admission. With the cable cars, and the miniture trains across the street, Knott's had a lot of rail-based rides.
BTW, I'm surprised to hear that the train store closed. It must've changed hands, and I never noticed.
