Here's a beauty of an Alco Schenectady built engine sitting at the round house in Conway, N.H. The sad part is according to the engineer, the engine is 100% restorable but the club that owns it has too many irons in the fire and are going to just cosmetically restore it and nothing more.

Well, the first order of cosmetic restoration should be to get rid of that gap between the boiler/smokebox and the drivers. That is SOOO MTH. :lol:

Exactly!! Most diecast steamers lack a fully rounded boiler as well as the prototypical gap above the frame. just another reason I prefer Brass. :D
