Duffy, baby! You are a sight for sore eyes and parched throats! Thanks for the new batch of brew!

Life must be good for you. You carry a fine rosy countenance, my dear. Welcome home!

Dufus,

How sweet it is! A "message in a bottle" from our bartender, brewmiester, and wine cellar steward. Idaho silver is a wonderful gift and will be a cooling libation as we weather the summer months. Thank goodness it's coming BNSF and not UP.

Happy to hear that married life is good to you.

All my best,

San

It's Friday. It's summer. I feel like drinkin' a few beers and chatting around the fire. Coals is glowin' like a redhead wet dream. Maybe we could grill a chicken. Anyone wanderin' down the tracks? I got some still cold. I stuck 'em in that ice house back up the line, read the reefer names till I wanted to cry. Happy to share as always.

Heya Tramp that's an inviting fire and stash of beer, good night for a campfire. I've got a chicken here to offer. Don't go thinking it's a squirrel, I know it kind of LOOKS like a squirrel, has that tail and seems to have four little legs and all, but it's really really honestly I swear not a squirrel, it's a chicken. So let's set it roasting and play some cards. Dealer's choice and I'm dealing. Strip poker? It's just such a beautiful night. Vibrating with crickets and jasmine.

Actually I don't have any cards come to think of it, kind of difficult to play with no cards, unless someone else has some. How about a story instead, ghosts or otherwise. I just saw the most stunning thing. It was raining like crazy and a shot of lightning zapped down and hit a street light. It blew up like a flowerbomb all over the sky, I can still see it with my eyes closed. I have a little piece of the glass here and it's glowing. I think it's lucky.

Nice jailbreak by the way Tramp.

I have some greasy cards here. Got these weird nekkid creatures on the backs. Ignore them--it's only pictures. I'll deal. Okay, I got a 6, 7, 3, Feller with one eye, and a 2. Daisy, I'm puttin' this squiken on a spit. Slow cook that criture. Awful hairy fur a bird. I can't smell that jasmine; can you really?

STONES

I miss you
When the whip comes down.
Imagine some girls:
Their lies, their faraway eyes,
It's not respectable.

But before they make me run,
I'll be a beast of burden,
I'll be shattered.

Hey kids, something smells like hair burning. What kind of incense is that? I'll take one of those cold ones, Tramp. I can't stay too long tonight 'cos I'm headed to a party down at Cedar Street. I like those cards Tramp, but they have a kinda gross stickiness to them. Good luck tonight Daisy. Maybe Tramp can get his mind off that redhead wet dream?

Well, yes, I really could smell the jasmine, it was wonderful, until you put the chicken on. Its fur doesn't smell too good, does it? Why don't you try slathering on some of this very special Cordon Blue sauce I've been saving up in this Crisco tin here. I know it might LOOK a little bit like Crisco, but that's just an illusion caused by it being IN a Crisco container.

Thanks Jackie. Wish you could stay a while.

Well, I don't really know much about playing poker, but I thought the main thing was you weren't supposed to know what was in the other's hand. Obviously I must be mistaken. It couldn't possibly be due to the fact that there's ten empty bottles of beer there behind you. Anyway, all my cards are red. And every one a heart. And they're all people except for this Ace and this 10. So what's it going to be there darling? Are you starting from the boots or the hat?

Jackie, I might suggest you take your leg outa the fire and pour a little beer on it. Might help the smell. Cedar Street? Wow.

Daisy, you won! You get to take off EVERYTHING.

Oh, did I shoot the moon? EVERYTHING? How about if I do, we all do? A beautiful naked summer night - yes?

Hey, who's that? Let's make him strip down too, whoever he is.

Jon, might I offer you one of these chilled bottles of ale? Might taste good with the shine. I guess I didn't need the WHOLE block a ice. Ifn you're passin' the shine, might warm my stomach. Though Daisy seems to be warmin' EVERYTHING. I wish she'd stop dancing like that.

Jackie, you leg looks fine. You still with us? Or you gone, gone to Cedar Street? Never heard it called that before.
