Re: Seen in Print
Frosty’s bar is not as bad as some street markets in INDIA. Try youtube for Train in INDIA’s street market.

I thought you might mean Thailand, Robert.
But I can understand why you thought of India.

Cajon, California.
Swing brakeman riding on top of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad train. Brakeman ride the trains in this way during the entire descent from summit to San Bernardino

When I started railroading some years ago, we often had six man crews:
Conductor
Engineer
Head Brakeman
Flagman
Swing Brakeman
Fireman
With the use of DPU (Distributed Power Units) the roads are next, going to attempt to operate mamouth trains (already 2-2,1/2 miles long) with just an engineer.

Re: Seen in Print
The Department of Transportation (DOT) has rules (14 CFR part 382) that require airlines to allow passengers to fly with their service animals.
Remember Dexter the peacock, who earned fame for being denied a seat on a United Airlines flight? Or Daisy the squirrel, whose owner got kicked off a Frontier flight. Or the (truly tragic!) tale of the emotional support hamster. (Pebbles the hamster got flushed down the toilet because it was not allowed on the airplane.)
Emotional support horse.
The number of emotional-support animals on commercial flights soared from 481,000 in 2016 to 751,000 the following year, according to trade group Airlines for America.

Re: Seen in Print
So typical of today's world. Maybe they should hand out teddy bears to passengers needing emotional support. What an immature, self-centered, selfish and ignorant world we live in.

The Department of Transportation has restricted what animals can be brought on board airliners.

What, you mean it wasn't all fun and games like Polar Express. OSHA would have gone nuts if it existed then. Certainly not a job for a drinker or older employee.
