In the News
Re: In the News
When i spoke to the Republicans in February. they offered no help with the primary. They basically said " go it alone" Them dems will give me some help. Will they change their tune? i don't know. is their help based on the fact that i have now tried it once? I have reached out to both parties. Only one got back to me within minutes. they like my stance. I' not full blown off the deep end past the fringe. I'd bet there are a few things they hate about me. Yet the still offered help in the primary.

Not being on team crazy does tend to disqualify you for being a republican as they are today.
20 years ago....you'd have been just fine.
I'd bet there are a few things they hate about me.
Not being on team crazy......not being a total sock puppet......being an independent thinking and speaker.....

Re: In the News
Robert, as an independent, you'll need itemize your beliefs by which party they appeal to the most. You draw out two columns, Democrat on one side; Republican on the other. If you believe in tax the rich, tax the corporations, put in on one side. If you believe in less taxes across the board, it goes on the other. More regulations and government control on one side, freedom and individual liberty on the other. More government money and entitlement programs on one side, more jobs and individual responsibility and success on the other. Rely on the government to assist in all aspects of life on one side, make your own way to success on the other. Believe in the "New World Order" on one side, believe America comes first on the other. Believe that the US should be the world's police department and get militarily involved in other countries spats when there is no US interests involved, on one side. The strongest military in the world able to move on short notice when US interests are threatened on the other side. Etc, etc.
When your list is complete with everything you can think of which affects you politically, then you contact the party you are most closely aligned with and tell them that if elected, you would caucus with their party. The two independents in the Senate both caucus with the Democrats, and Bernie Sanders gets his spot in the Democratic primaries as a Democrat, not an Independent as a Socialist.

If you agree with the Progressives, it's freedom of speech. If you disagree, it's hate speech. There are no alternatives.

Hey! They're bringin' the American basketball player home from the Russian gulag. They traded a super terrorist murdering arms dealer for "her" even up. Good friggin' deal!

Bring home the friggin celebrity but President Biden's deal leaves former Marine Paul Whelan in Russian prison
Now she will probably sign a book deal for a million dollars and have a TV special about her stupidity.....
When it comes to arms dealing the US has got to be the biggest terrorist organization in the world.

The Russians want a guy that's in a German prison for Whelan.
Reads also like the Griner exchange was really mediated by the UAE-Saudi.

Indeed. It might have indicated that he could care about anyone other than himself.

Seems like there are these sorts in every organization usually in a basement office that you need a map to locate. Once there, you get the feeling that you might not ever get back out. Must be a strong union,

I would like to see how you answered each of those questions on the survey.
