Could you be more specific?

No wonder so much money is lost, we can't remember where we put it any better than we can remember where we heard we lost it... or is it read we lost it... or saw we lost it.

Very much similar to the bolded print above, I can't remember exactly where I saw that statement, but I think it might have been in an article/magazine related to treasure hunting. It was quite a while back (several years) that I read it

It is OK you cannot remember, my question was rhetorical... used to lead into my contention that we are all forgetful and to the example.

Upon further reflection , I have to admit I did actually forget, back in 1969, that I had stashed-away some cash. It was during my first year teaching. I had been taking $100 bills out of each bi-weekly paycheck and putting them inside the back of a framed picture on a wall in my three-room furnished apartment.

As the academic year drew to its close, I was so excited about receiving a permanent contract and about moving from the inner-city to a more suburban apartment, that I forgot about the cash saved in the picture frame.

While unpacking in the new place, I lifted the picture out of its transport box and out rained much of the $100 bills. What fun! And I knew I was darn lucky I had not dropped those bills out along the way.

When I worked at Grumman-American in 73 we still used slide rules to design light aircraft. I used mine into the early 80s to do stress analysis on the spring elements of electrical connectors.
You begin flying with a full bag of luck and an empty bag for experience. The object is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

If you pick up a golf ball and examine it you might say it is "Round with dimples."

Now pay attention, this is important to the operation of our sophisticated toy trains, is an electron round?

JILA, formerly known as the Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics, is a physical science research institute in the United States. JILA is located on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. They just spun up an electron and reported, "The Electron Still Seems Round."

Good to know. The electrons can still roll down the wires, rails and circuit board lands to control and power our trains.
